Los Angeles (USA), 24 feb (EFE) .- The production of the series "Two and a Half Men" was suspended provisionally due to personal problems of its protagonist, Charlie Sheen, has been canceled for the rest of the season.

Said today on CBS and Warner Bros. Television in a statement the decision was taken after the attack launched by the famous dialectic actor to the series creator, Chuck Lorre.

"Based on all statements of Charlie Sheen, his conduct and his state of health, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to halt production of the series for the rest of the season," explained the two companies.

was expected Sheen, 45, returned to the series next week after being admitted to emergency in late January at the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, after several days of celebration in his home in which, according to U.S. media, there were plenty of drugs.

he left the medical center, Sheen began rehabilitation therapy at home and had to suspend the recording of the show until his character was again available.

But when it appeared that production would resume, Sheen turned serious insult to Chuck Lorre, creator of the program, in an interview on U.S. public radio

"I was told that if he continued with the attacks cancel the show so I'm really looking to see if what they say is true," Sheen told the presenter, Alex Jones, who made clear that the show could not continue without his presence.

"Watch the audience, guys. Watch your audience stupid. Do what you have to do, I'm going to make films with big stars and will not work with idiots, "added the actor.

was expected to record at least four more episodes to complete the season and leave it in 20 episodes, four fewer than usual in "Two and a Half Men." EFE
