Convicted of a crime against intellectual property to gain profits through its website, created to share files.
The Criminal Court has sentenced Logroño 1 of the surfer of 22 years, AGL, six months imprisonment and payment of 4,900 euros to profit from Internet downloads.
The downloads are made through a website that offered links to download movies and games, protected by copyright. The aim is for the first time in Spain condemns a person to prison for such crimes, according to the daily El Pais.
Specifically, the youth is convicted of an offense against intellectual property to obtain benefits through its website, apparently created by the defendant to file sharing.
